All of the green fields you see in these photos are grapes. It’s this town’s main source of income. In English, it would likely be called Grape Hill. The reading of the kana in the tags is “Budou No Oka.” The scenery was breathtaking. All taken during the bus tour on Saturday, September 17th, 2011.

Petrified wood from Arizona. Why it’s in Japan, I have no idea. Couldn’t read the sign.

These grapes weren’t supposed to be picked, but since they were picked by accident we had to eat them, otherwise we’d have to pay. I ate the majority of them, but they weren’t as sweet as the big purple ones. I later got sick from eating so many. The old ladies who came on the bus tour with us picked too many bunches and told us to eat them because we’re young. They said we have a responsibility. lol Crazy ladies. They were amusing, but I wasn’t too happy with them for picking so many.

The street at the place the bus took us to to pick grapes.

Bought this adorable thing at the gift shop on Mt Fuji. They’re the seven gods of the mountain. I don’t know their names though.

Group of us exchange students from Tsuda College, with a couple of the Japanese girls from there.
